I did end up moving it out a bit. Probably going to add gutters anyway though.

The lonely drains with the ball valves have been plum'd over to the two sets of blue barrels. The blue barrels are connected via 1" pipe and Uni-seals so all get about the same level of water. Inside one of each set is a sump pump that is actuated by sensors. The pump starts when the water level reaches the upper sensor and stops when it reaches the lower sensor.

The grow beds are actually feed troughs for livestock. They were cheap but I am not very impressed with them and have designed a bed that I will have built when my son has time to get it into his boat building schedule. (He has started a custom boat manufacturing company nearby) Basically it will be a 30" x 60" bed with a structural support in the middle. It will be gel coated both sides so should look good and last a long time.

If it proves out I will give him permission to sell them.
