Hola Carlos!

Good to see you got your system up and running!
My guess is that the fish will like you eventually! :)

My goldfish seek the shadow sometimes, but when they are really hungry they all come up, especially when I am shaking the food over the tank.

Is this your main thread on this forum ?

Hola!
Yes, this is my main thread but I've been busy lately and I haven't updated it. I am currently setting up a slightly bigger system and I will update once it is finished.

Ah! The fingerlings born in my FT don't get scared at all. They even almost get feed from my hand!

Bigger ? Sounds great!
We are about to move to a big casa in Barcelona with a huge garden, so will be setting up a bigger setup myself as well.

So your system is breeding new fish at this stage, that is hella cool!
Le me know if I can buy some of you when times come, or take a trip to Valencia to check out your system as we talked about a couple of months back.

Good to see things are going forward in rapid pace!

Also, check out my new thread which I started here.

Hi are you still working on your system? I've been looking around for internships/ work opportunities in a Hispanic country and it sounds like we could help each other out. I have a bit of experience with AP systems through the group I volunteer with and I study biology so I can help you with growing plants and fish. What I'd like to get out of it is to acquire some more professional aquaponic experience to put on my resume and to improve my Spanish speaking skills. If you'd like to talk please feel free to email me: rkilbride22@gmail.com.

Best Wishes

Hi! Need to update the thread. My new system is already going. I still have few plants but +-600 tilapias in a 5000l. Pool, with 1000l. GB. Maybe too much fish so I plan to add 500/1000l more Gb vol. My main concern now is setting up a heating system for the cold times coming.
I'll post some photos as soon as I can.

Peoples, I still haven't read your thread but you can come whenever you want to visit me.

Rkilbride22; I don't really know if I understood what you mean with internship/ work opportunities but I'm still trialing AP and my system is very small. I'd be glad to have an intern when I can afford one but now it's too soon. Anyway I'm a newbie in AP and of course any advice from a biologist and AP experienced will be appreciated, and more if he speaks spanish!

600 tilapias, small system you say ? ;)
Sounds like epic proportion to me!

We have moved in to a new house in Barcelona, huge garden and a greenhouse. Already starting to plan out the system. Would it perhaps be possible to purchase some of your fingerlings ?
