Hi,

Decided to harvest the biggest pak choi - so that no fat-arsed wood pigeon can do any damage to it.

Not sure how I should be harvesting it, but I just cut it at the root (which is still in the grow bed:

I made a simple chicken stir-fry with it (oil, garlic, bit of sugar, soy source and an egg):

Tasted very nice (you can't really go wrong with soy sauce and garlic!) :thumbleft:

The pak choi itself tasted like, erm, pak choi. Although, the bigger stems seem to be a bit tough - but that is probably because I let it grow too big and long. The smaller stems/leaves taste fine.

Not much, but I'm happy with my first meal with (one) AP produce!

Cheers,

Mon

Perhaps you should have used squab instead of chicken

Very true! But I haven't actually caught the scalawag doing the crime. Maybe I should put my Sony Action Cam to good use and set it up for time lapse and see what it captures!

Cheers,

Mon

Try a raisin in a cone, when it tries to eat the raisin, it will get it's head stuck and just chill there. At least it is supposed to work...
