hi, i am new to joining the forum and especially new to posting pictures, not very good on computers. I have been reading about aquaponics about a year and fixed up a trial set up a couple months ago. I have been going very slow and its been working great. always been a novice fish keeper, even worked at a tropical fish hatchery after high school and I have inherited a love for growing plants. living on a farm my whole life i gained respect for the land and what we are doing to it. I hope through aquaponics we can help and show the way to a more enviornmently friendly was to produce food. first picture is my goldfish in a old chest type freezer with their babies on top, next pic is aquariums with dwarf chiclids, mosquito fish and brim the boys net out of the pond. third pics is my grow bed with tomatoes and lettuce
that grows in front of our eyes, the wife is amazed. the boys are 13, 11, and 9 and they are extremly helpful and interested the the whole idea. we enough for now and am going to see how this posts.
