Not much to report...I have been running fishless for quite some time now. The system is leaking like a sieve and we have not had any rain, so topups have all been with tap water. I'm sure the chloramines are to high for fish so I just plan on staying fishless for this year. The new system is still a long way off, but I'll wait for it for fish.

A friend, in town from Germany, came by today and had a look at the system. It was nice to get out and explain the whole process to someone new...most friends and family have bored with the whole thing...fresh meat! Anyway - he seemed interested enough to maybe start when he gets back home. We'll see.

Bummer on the leaks and lack of rain. I just got my rain saucers up and of course we haven't had much rain here this spring either. I'm lucky enough not to have to deal with chloramine but my well water keeps the pH high.

I just read threw your system thread Deja sorry for all the bs that you had to go threw with those guys! Anything new with your system? Im also in the houston area as well friendswood region it was nice to see some people that know about aquaponics near me
