Hi all,

This will be my first foray into aquaponics. Today I'm setting up a mini CHIFT-PIST system in my apartment. The plan is to use an 85L GB, 65L sump tank, and 65L FT. I will use no more than 125L total water volume to ensure the GB can completely empty during pump/power failure and my friendly neighbors downstairs will remain dry! Considering 60% of my GB volume will be media, and my bell siphon will be set a healthy 2cm below this media level, I'm counting on this being sufficient volume for my plants. I'll add pictures as able so that others might be aided from this site as I have been. Input and criticism is wholly welcomed!
