Todays up date wicking beds are on hold for the moment [ to busy with my distilled water project 8) ] but here is what we up to have planted 2 beds lettuce carrot beetroot rubarb silver beet and trying an early tomato
Have fitted taps to the drains of the 2 beds [handy for new seedlings fill them right up till the seeds shoot then gradually drain them down to encourage roots ]
Remember these beds will be connected so as you let out the water the other beds will take it up
Also went to the recycling center and got 6 more pots same as the herb garden
will transfer the strawberry's to these

we have not done any wicking beds yet.
but thanks for the idea, maybe it will be our stage 3

Put milk crates and dip pipes and coco koi in the 3 remaining beds today so its all go now also dug a 7 ft dia by 29 in hole and put the fish tank in the fernery ,photos to follow
