How did you get those onions to grow like that?

Just plant the bottom bit of the onion?

used all but about 1/4" of the onion and stuck them half way in the gravel and one sitting on top under the pepper plant canopy.

Temp in the house is 74-82 degrees and the system is on a 15 min soak every 45 minutes.
bell siphon in the center of the container that can keep up with the pump when it is online.
