they readings are as followed PH 7.8-8.0; Am: 0.00-.25 max; NITRI:0.00 ; NITRA:0.00 ( im testing in the am before i feed the fish and the system is running all night and all day. I also feed the fish a good amount when i get off from work around 5pm)
I only have 11 golf fish in the fish tank, is this not enough to run the two beds or am i crazy. Any and all help more than apperciated thanks!

how big is your system? (ft and gb's)
what are you feeding the fish? this has more to do with plant growth than most people realize.. most fish food you get from an aquarium shop is made to provide the fish with the least amount of nutrients that they need to help keep the tanks "clean" but most aquariums still need water changes..
a good quality fish food will provide both the plants and fish all the nutrients they need.. while your ph is high, you can add maxicrop with iron to help the plants with micronutrients that they have difficulty utilizing with the ph you have..

MY FT IS ABOUT 750L MY GROW BEDS ARE 283L MY SUMP IS PROBABLY 550 L; The fish food i bought was aqueon-goldfish granules(this info is from petsmart website on product: Guaranteed Analysis: Crude Protein (min) 35%, Crude Fat (min) 5%, Crude Fiber (max) 5%, Moisture (max) 9%, Phosphorus (min) 1%).
As well i add maxicrop, but the variety without iron(only because it wasnt available at the shop i went to).
However i have added iron to the system, then again i havent added the maxicrop since i added the goldfish like 2-3weeks ago. I have growth, however i just thought there would be traces of nitrites and nitrates in the system. If it aint broke i wont fix it, but then again i shouldnt have went and bought 20 more goldfish last night lol.
