Looking great Cindy.

Just be weary of mint. Apparently it is very aggressive and will take over your grow bed!

Hi, yes mint is VERY aggressive. It is going absolutely wild in the containers it is in right now. I am asking neighbors if they want some lol.

When I first got it, it was struggling and I put a couple cut off in the system to get started. It worked very well. I pulled it and gave it to a friend. So there is no mint in the system.

For awhile, I was afraid I was going to have to put up a "Garden Hospital" sign on the green house. If we had seedlings that were having a hard time, it went into the system to recover, When the seedlings were culled from our starts, they were put in the system to recover and thrive. Most of the plants in my system are from starts in seed trays.

Our dirt garden is having a real rough time this year. We are suffering from attacts from above, (birds) from ground level (rabbits, chipmonks, chizzlers, they are cousins to prairie dogs) and mother nature. The winds have blown 25-40 mph for almost a month non stop. New tender transplants are having a difficult time of it. We had a nice soaking rain last night that was the first precip here since april and that was snow.

I would be a very happy camper if the dirt garden looked 1/2 as good as the AP system does.
