haha I wish....well I guess it is 'salvaged' :P

The entire setup has not been used in the last 3 years or so! The mob I work for are utterly insane...they spend big bucks on stuff then neglect it and let it fall into disrepair...

Luckily the system has been running its self for the last few years, and all the batteries are fine....but other then my AP system, no one is using these panels, as the villa they are connected to has followed said pattern of falling into decay....

Not STRICTLY AP related....but it is...because AP is about creating integrated holistic systems that mimic - while also depending on - natural systems...and boy, are bees right in the middle of that....

no not really, they stayed just outside it...but Abbey Road is cracker album and anytime to mis-quote the Beatles is to be grabbed with both hands...

anyways, its a swarm...this occurs when a hive gets to large and some workers and a queen (dont know where she comes from, coz the original queen stays with the original colony...) split from a hive to form a new one....

This pic shows them just having a rest in transit to their new home....the queen is at the centre of this and the workers are all using their energy to protect her and keep her warm...they are at their most placid at this stage....

I took this pic this morning while in the shower, and they are still there...they endured through a massive monsoonal down poor today too...

interesting stuff...
