I see a lot of people just use either a cheap black poly pipe or even pvc piping arc-ed over the Gb then attach shadecloth or chicken wire. Oh yea and also broom handles for the up rights. Let your imagination roll...

Ok, I've bodged together a fence with some bamboo lattice, and the vege's seem safe. Also, after a visit from troutman, I now have 50 rainbow trout swimming in my FT, and 20 marron in my ST.

Hi JJ, Do you only have the one pump for the 4 joined fish tanks{4000l total}? If so, you probably should run your pump constantly to get a better water turnover.

yeah, currently only 1 pump, running 15 minutes every hour so far.

I was thinking of moving to CF. I might do that when the fish are a bit bigger. I might get a couple of the beds using autosiphons, and a couple doing CF.

Either that, or I can run it 15 on/ 15 off, as that should cycle pretty much all my water avery 1.5 hours or so.
