Okay go ahead and laugh, I guess it is. :funny1:
I am about 50 percent or so color blind. And that is the only thing that prevented me to become a fighter pilot!

So, what is the best way for me to take care of the PH and other stuff that color is involved for testing?
Is there an electronic gadget that can do it for me?

electronic gadgets are kind of costly. I would suggest just posting a pic of the test tubes and let someone comment on what the lvls are.

you could try this;
when testing, hold the bottle up with the color chart behind it.. the bar that "dissappears" behind the tube will be closest to the reading

Thanks Keith, good tip! I think that is what I try first.

Thanks also to ralath, if Keith method was troublsome for me, then I will post a picture.

Next question, what is the best test kit you guys recommend, considering my issue.

api master test kit (freshwater)

most aquarium shops will test your water for you.. just don't buy chemicals that they say you need to treat your aquarium/fish/water with

Are you human?: The top half is

pH meters are reasonably priced, try Ebay.
All the others are a pain to measure electronically and therefore expensive.
You could take a picture of the result and run it through a software package that will tell you the various levels of each colour, I think even Picasa may do this, but I might be wrong.
Some software package on my PC does this.
Or probably easier to do what ralath suggested and post it here :D
