I'd say ditch the solids removal and biofilter tanks, and use that space for gravel growbeds. Gravel is likely the easiest material to get in developing countries. All the stuff it takes to make the solids removal, and biofilter tanks would be more complicated to aquire. Would it destroy the aestetics of your system to have the fish tank slightly higher than the growbeds, so you could reduce your system to one pump and let gravity and a SLO keep your fish tank at a more stable hight, and feed your growbeds? I'm still a newbee here, but from what I've noticed is that simpler always wins in the end. Besides, the beauty is in the plant growth, and the swiming fish, not a bunch of extra tanks. On superfoods, check out the threads on morenga! The countries that need food the most have the climate for it. I'm pretty sure you could get some success in Simi Valley with it, as people in San Diego seem to have success. I intend to grow it.
