Hi All,
just been reading your thread Novaris, good work. In one of your photos 12/12/09 I think it is a batt charger and battery,If you haven't done it I would place the Batt. on wood or foam, not on the ground,as when the cold weather comes it will cause the batt to fail eventually. That is what has happened to me in the past.

Peter

Ok Silver perch have tripled in size in 7 weeks wow I reckon they could tackle the trout. Hmm maybe not..

Anyway here is my emergency heat suppressant :D

An updated photo of the sequencer and a shot of the new 1000L system almost ready to go.

The sequencer uses a pic micro to control the car door actuators and braking on the control unit has stopped any problems with bounce or dropping of the open valves. The timer closes all valves on switch on and then runs sequentially 15m on 5m off from bed to bed, with a 5m return to sump before starting again.

While the previous test system is working fine since I added the braking to the controller I still feel that the box set-up is better.

Looking very similar to Les's (Elkaybee) old system... which used car door actuators and ran like a charm...

Where are you Elk???

Hi Novaris,
How goes your system using the IBCs?
I am expecting 4 to be delivered tomorrow and am not sure of the set up I should use. Leaning toward a half buried sump as 1 IBC, a tank or 2 from 2 others and cut one in half for 2 grow beds. I have something else I can use for an extra grow bed come the time.
I should like to see how yours has come along.

cheers
Dale
