Thanks Faye. As an aside, my wife (Al) is doing horticulture at TAFE. They needed somewhere to set up a vege garden, and we kindly volunteered our backyard. I have grabbed some seedlings that have been put into the earth garden and put them into the Aquaponics system. These were rocket lettuce and brocoli. the rocket and brocoli in the aquaponics is far ahead of the earth plants but the lettuce is a little behind. I have been showing the students the Aquaponics every time they come up and there has been a lot of interest in it here.

Hi all, its been a while. Life just gets away from you at times. Here are a couple of pics of my system at this stage. Have had a good feed of Boc choy, tomatoes growing and flowering at this time of the year. Big success with silver beet, basil and coriander. The most fantastic growth has been broccoli. this has all been with 20 goldies and very little testing it looks good it smells good its growing all the testing you need .

Excellent Bazz... was a bit worried whether or not you'd get enough light in there... but looks like there's enough...

Looks like the plants are chasing the light, other than that, well done BnA.

Thanks everyone. Yes I will put edible fish in this spring. the plants did go leggy, but i can wear that given i am getting produce from them. I have put clear sheeting in the roof and on the sides of the shed now, so a lot more light getting in. I think the beauty of what my system has shown me is that this works with very little input and this was my original intent. Soon i will be adding 3 EB growbeds and a 3000L tank and using the smaller one for getting plants going before putting into the bigger growbeds,
