never could tell the difference between then's and than's.

you do raise some very good points though. i doubt i would want to live if i had no power or control over my existence. i think i would go crazy in such a situation.

ap is a way to regain the power.

to quote a famous poet. "bring the power back to the people"

i just remembered a discussion i had with my boss. i was talking about setting up ap systems at nursing homes with government funding. my idea was that the health benefits would be great and the gov would want to support such a thing. my boss had a laugh at the idea as thats the last thing these institutions want. they want sick clients as they are then reliant on them. i may be a bit harsh but it seems more and more obvious the gov doesn't care much about the wellness of its citizens.

BF - noble thoughts, but who would look after the systems. The staff would be busy enough looking after the patients. If they wanted healthy food - they would just buy in good stuff and prepare good healthy meals, which in itself is not easy I wouldn't think when you hae to cook for many.

You are so right the gov does not care much about the wellness of its citizens. This applies to all citizens not just the elderly. Here in Victoria we have a Gov taken water from the dry side of the Great Divide to the wet side. Anyone knows that to harvest water you trap it where it is most likely to fall.
We have to promote Aquaponics as every back yard should have a unit.
Retires may prove to be the best able to build/buy a unit and operate it to a level where they are feeding all the younger family members.
Look at me slowly getting there. Held up with started work which has to be completed before getting our AP going.

Now you are getting on track! A group of people in California got tired of waiting on the government to fix their problems and formed a co-op to produce E85. Now they get their gas for about $1/gallon.

They noted that the US spent enough on this "war" to build enough alcohol plants to get the entire world off foreign oil using cat tail produced ethanol; turning their poo in fuel..

So the moral of the story, if you want it done at all, much less right, do it your self even if you dont do it 'right'...
