Thanks to funding from the CMA and other sources, the inspiration of the Assistant Principal, (and Mitch)... the kids at Nyngan Public School now have a brand new aquaponics system... and can hardly wait to see their plants and fish grow... A purpose build fenced enclosure was erected and power supplied... Hopefully it will do that Faye, the end will be enclosed now that the system is in place.... The tank will have a hinged cover put in place, and the tank end of the enclosure, or indeed in summer, the whole enclosure will be covered with shadecloth.... This thread will be directed towards the kids from today... for them to post questions and progress photos.... So please bare that in mind when posting comments...

Great to see some schools in the East getting systems . Hopefully they will get on here and share their experiences. A gabled laserlite roof would go nice over that enclosure.

Nice looking system, good idea with the fencing there.... Keep everything out from troublemakers through to predatory birds..

I must have missed this when you set it up - nice work Rupe. Looks a lot like Oregon except for where the sun came out at the end .

Not sure what the fate of this project was/is... I was contacted earlier this year.. by someone that I'd previously not dealt with...and advised that the head mistress and husband had moved to another school... but that the system was to be restarted... but haven't heard anything since...
