-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Omar rang and said he had a saltwater pool that wasn't used that much anymore... and he wondered if he could convert it to have some fish in it, but still be able to swim in it during summer... without too much maintenance... So we got rid of the saltwater... turned it back to fresh water... and threw a few trout in.... Stocked lightly for now... while Omar gets a handle on things... but might end up heading towards 3-400 fish eventually.... I dropped out a few weeks ago Hui... because the pool had greened... and discussed the next phase of additional filtration... But haven't heard back from them since... |

The next thing that will happen is all the fish will die due to lack of oxygen, not enough filtration etc and then AP gets a bad name. |

Despite not getting any grow beds on.... and just running the pool filter... Omar got all his trout through Arbe... brought a Hark smoker... smoked them... and both he, and friends raved about them... He's doubling up this year... |

I always wondered whether a standard pool sand filter would be enough to grow a small number of trout in a pool. I guess the answer is a resounding yes. |
