Have had our system running for about 8-10 weeks. Fish are hungry and happy, and seem to be growing well. Plants on the other hand dont seem to great. Is there anyone living close to Wickham/Karratha or who may have similar weather conditions who can tell me about there plants. I am not experiencing very good growth or success with any plants (tomatoes, lettuce, silverbeet, chilli, capsicum amd eggplant).

Hi there, we live in Tom Price and have had our fish (Barra) in the tanks for a month. Currently we are growing tomatoes, capsicum, silver beet, strawberries, passion fruit, aubergine and basil in our GB's. All are growing well except the capsicum.

Can you post some pics of your system?

What feed are you using and what is your pH?

Hi Jane, I see this is an old post, just wondering how you got in with plants with the water quality. I am in port hedland, the pH is around 8.2 and struggling to get certain plants to grow.

What did you find worked best for you?
