Welcome to the club. I am from fresno. You are going to have problems with those squash plants over growing there containers.

Thanks! I kinda noticed about the squash plant already. Damn thing grows fast. I am in the process of adding two more grow beds and at least one of them will be another hydroton. How would you suggest the best way to plant the squash?

I would try to make a bed that is separated from the others and then plant that squash near the side and train it away from the other plants. It will get huge.

Thanks! I am actually going to install a trellis behind it and train it up and away from other plants.

I live in Riverbank and I'm considering aquaponics. Are you still involved and if so, how is your system doing?
