Hey there. I just started this small system for my classroom with one of my students. I am a Tech teacher in a town called Webster located in western New York. My student set up a WIKI for our project. I would love it if some of you guys could check it out...maybe make some comments, tips etc.. on the Blog on the Wiki. So here's the site:

That lettuce is pretty crazy!

Maybe try an algaeculture (bioreactor) /duckweed/azolla setup running on aged urine to grow as food for the tilapia? The tilapia can filter algae out of the water.
