I have benefited greatly (and hope to continue doing so) from being a member of this fantastic forum. Rather than clutter up this forum with location-specific requests related to aquaponics, I have decided to set up a Facebook page for fellow enthusiasts living in North Queensland. The intent is to foster local interest, share in purchasing of product, and share ideas and knowledge specific to North Queensland and the tropics in general. Please feel free to join this group if you live in the region. |

Anyone interested in joining, feel free to do so. To join the group - Go to Facebook, search for NQ Aquaponics, and then click Join Group in the top-right corner. You can also join any public group that you see on the About page of someone's profile by clicking Join. Members from Mackay, Airlie Beach, Bowen, Townsville, Ingham, Cardwell, Tully, Innisfail, Gordonvale, Cairns, Mossman and west to Charters Towers are invited to paticipate. |

Sorry for all of those folks who have unsuccessfully tried to access our new Facebook page. I had the privacy settings all wrong. Hopefully it will now allow public access. Sorry folks. Seems like FB has changed how Public can access a Group Page. It appears that it has to be by invite only. I will keep working on it and either create a new (non-group page) or resolve the limitations with the existing one. My apologies for this. I will let you know as soon as it is resolved. |
