I don't have a AP system setup in Crestview, but i am from there and stop by to visit family from time to time.. In the event that you get a system up and running I would to see it.. Glad to see someone else from Crestview on these forums.. I am setting up a system here (Texas) shortly using some IBCs, and hope to start growing some yummy veggies and fish..

Hi! I am in Pensacola. I am very new to aquaponics. I just started a micro system in my back room last month. Learning as I go!

I understand the "learning" as I go". I am planning on a micro system myself. Got the 35 gal tank up and running but since the tank is hexagon I am having issues with a grow bed on top. But, I am not trying to hard as it isn't high on the priority list. My system out back is a commercially sold system that a friend of mine gave me. 300 gal fish tank with 48 sq. feet of grow space. I found out that the smaller systems are easier to manage than the larger, at least during the initial phase. I am getting into vermiculture now and planning on putting some worms in my grow medium to see if I can boost things along. Right now everything is doing very well, but was told that it really kicks off after about a year. So, I will be glad to converse with you about the systems.
