I am getting real close to starting my system.

Concerned about the fish over the winter. I think I will be ok
during the summer, but after this past winter not sure what type to try.

What do you guys and gals have?
My system is going to be more of a true pond type system, so no green house.

Thanks in advance for any tips given.

Thank you for the response.

My heart was telling talapia, but my gut was telling me to go in the catfish direction.

Thanks again.

Kennesaw is pretty far North. In a GH with heat, you could certainly raise tialpia, but outside, you would need to harvest before Winter each year.

A very short season, and will need some good heaters for the greenhouse in the Winter. Maybe best just to do seasonal. I lived there for about 7 years(Anchorage area) and you get some fantastic growth during the Summer months. 19 hours of sun and good soil can create some impressive growth. I can only imagine that would be even better in an AP system.
