Hey Rob,

I'm a student at the Evergreen State College, and am working with a group of students to develop a passive solar greenhouse, in which we would house an AP system. We have finalized our passive solar design, and are working to get permits to build. While that process runs its course, we are trying to reach out to more WA state AP folk to get a better understanding of how systems are working out here. Would you have time to answer some questions either over the phone or on the forum? Anyways, looking forward to hearing from you!

Joe

Hello Rob,

Is your fish tank heated? How many Tilapia do you have in there?

Any pictures?

Hi Rob -
I'm new to the forum and see you are also in western Washington. I just set up a system in my backyard and its about done cycling. Next is fish! I was leaning toward bluegill but would be interested to learn more about tilapia.
Thanks,
Alex

No worries - great talking with you as well - are you going to try to make it to the Puyallup fair tomorrow? I think Sylvia Bernstein is holding a workshop at 1:00

Hi Deezil -
Use extreme caution once you head down the path there's no turning back :)
Also, of note right there in Bham are some great folks who sell awesome seeds - you can find them at uprising seeds.

Good luck with your system!
