Hi Everyone,  I'm a newbie here on the forum and based near Nantes in North Western France. Looking for anyone who is also in France or indeed in the adjoining countries (UK, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Holland, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Andorra) or indeed anywhere in Europe, who is also working in this area for exchange of local ('ish) information and mutual support. Hey Tojo, I have always enjoyed my trips to Northern Italy, although I never got as far east as you are. I hope to complete my initial IBC system this week (looks good for that, just updated) and am currently doing a more detailed design on the main system. Got some input from the folks on this forum so hope to post something on that after the IBC system completion for review. Still trying to finalize my timeline for completion of that system but certainly before mid-summer! I'll update my "system" thread as I go. Thanks Stuart. Andorra is a principality high in the Pyrenees mountains between Spain and France. It is much like Monaco. Good to know about it for skiing and quiz games! Its main business activity is tourism. |

 Isn't every small country!Of course, that well known neighbour to Belgium is well busy in the area of tax avoidance (Vodafone etc...) , Luxembourg  Such fun!

I agree , it's one of those things that's completely wrong in todays world... I hope the weather at your place has been better , safe to say that it sucked here in Belgium, having a hard time keeping my garden alive... |

Hi Alastair, newbie Dave C here. A few friends and I are getting togther later next week to discuss setting up a few systems, one at each house. We're a couple of hundred kilometers west of you near Lorient. Would really like to know how your situation is regarding your setup. Would be great hear from you. |

HI All I'am replying to anyone in france. I live in france haute savoie 1 hour drive south for central geneva, and live up in the montains at around 1000 meters above sea level. I run two systems a external 1000 L tank, which at present have tilpia Then I run an internal tank for the winter months. and am building a third tank with fresh water cray from lake geneva (Lac Leman) so if any one is passing. I have carpentry workshop on the same site so am around most days. Thanks Sam |
