I have a lot of space left and i'm looking for ideas of what to add. Right now I have some dell pepes, tomato, cucumbers and a coupone of random herbs.

Hi Raskal311,

I live in Orange County, near Golden West College, and I'm trying my hand at Aquaponics! I have a vertical NFT system I found, about 70% finished, and I am trying to choose the plants & fish to raise. I think that whatever I choose, I will try to add some sort of onion if possible, to help keep the hungry insects away!

I don't really have any pictures yet, but here is the system I am trying to set up:

I am having to do a lot of develpment on this. I noticed that the author stopped answering the many questions, and no photos of his system actually completed and functioning exist,

In San Diego, I have tomatoes, chard, cucumbers, dill bigger than most of my trees, many bell peppers, jalapeños, basil, watermelon...
