Hi, I have been wondering if anyone in the Atlanta area was into aquaponics. I have an established koi and goldfish pond. I haven't plumbed any external beds yet. I have played around with in the pond raised and submersed plants. I have plans to build a system but money for start up probably won't be available until spring. Don't know if you would need/want water but you are welcome to a bucket or filter sludge and sand I have plenty. |

I'm a newbie just north of Athens. We have built a greenhouse to house both the fishtank and the growbeds. We are waiting on the pond liner to be delivered so I can get the beds finalized. I have the fish tank (IBC tote) up and running with goldfish for now. I also plan to seed the system with water from our indoor planted fish tank. Glad to know there are others on here that are fairly close to home. Kristie |
