Hello all I'm a noobie here on the forums and to Aquaponics. I have started my first system with an 275 gallon IBC.

Anyone close to my area to where I can check out your setup and of course ask tons of questions.

hey! I'm from Stockton, I have a small system right now using a small kids pool and rubbermaid containers, I would like to upgrade to an IBC soon!

Hi Kane,

Looking at the pic in your album it looks like you have done a great job with your first system.

My only concern would be the clear pipe. It is most likely going to have algae grow in there and block your pipe.

Have you planted it out with seeds/seedlings to suit your climate yet? If not I would suggest you do and then add an ammonia source (humonia/charlie carp etc) to get your system cycled before adding fish.

Looks like someone has a keen eye and steady hand, judging by the perfect cut of the IBC!
