I have been looking at those pumps on Ebay also but wasn't keen on getting one in from Hong Kong. Normally takes weeks to get the stuff in and its hard to send it back if something is wrong. I am also interested in one from a Aussie supplier if a bulk order is going in. Would grab a few of the ball air stones also.

Guys, don't forget to pool in and get a big roll of air tubing while you are at it... Sometimes you could pay up to $1 per metre... in a big roll, it is much cheaper...

RE; Olive Barrells; How much were they, I want one now, I'm gonna go chop with my system.

I was just talking to the glazier about observation windows too, can go glass if it is square tanks but cheaper to go perspects if it is round. Purely makes it more interesting when you can see the fish. can study habits etc too

As for the air pumps we need to work out what size air pump everyone gets how many outlets on each pump, how much airline everyone needs and obviously allow some spares too, Will have to arrange another BBQ to get together and take orders/requests.

6 stones & about 18m of airline

Hey guys dont forget about http://www.aquariumproducts.com.au/. Shipping is only $7.50 no matter how big the order is and they will also beat any competitors price by 10% on the identical product.

I use one of these at home on fish tanks and it provides plenty of air.

BTW i an not affiliated with the above company in any way other than as a customer.

Bugger ......."Sold out" "Sold out""Sold out""Sold out"................. we were discussing the advantages of electromagnetic and the reliability over diaphram air pumps, Someone mentioned Blower style, well I just saw them at this web site, Cash up and how much air do you want, Wow. Guppy's also do a 200m roll of silicon airhose tubing for $34 cost's me that for a 76m roll through my supplier.we can all split the difference and take our share of tubing would be more than ample.

Some of those Resun pumps don't pump that deep... the ACO-xxx range will pump full volume down to a metre at least...

I've ordered air pumps etc from
http://www.guppysaquariumproducts.com.au/

as a comparison they have the Hailea 8 way air pump for $55
not sure how this compares to the Resun.
They also have 12V pumps which i'm about to put in using a power failover relay.

I have emailed them regarding shipping It is starting to get frustrating because of the size of the order, They may want me to split it up which will raise the shipping cost which then defeats the purpose of the original venture I am persisting, will keep you posted.

The 70 lph air pumps have 10 stone manifold on them, Currently i am getting the quote on 4 airpumps alll the same and obviously 10 stones per pump asking for 40 stones ,but hit the hurdle, they only have 35 in stock, still awaiting the reply on shipping.
