Last lot of hydroton I got from Bunnings (in a pinch - late Saturday arvo) was $33.70 a bag! That isn't too criminal - gotta love price match + %10!

That being said, I source mine for $30 now ...

Bunnings is no longer the cheapest,, they only have the price match because they know no one will bother! lmao, I have customers that are learning every day not to go back, makes business good, for my boss.

I found blue barrels already cut in half both ways. They are at the farm shop directly accross from Cathedral ave on the Great Northern Hwy about 5-10min from ellenbrook. Will get some prices today hopefully.

I'll think you'll find them exxy. I looked at those very ones a few months back and thought 'pffft!'

Best to source your own in bulk n jigsaw away til your hearts content.

Thanks again Wolly for inviting us around to your place today. It was good to put some faces to the names on here. Great setup you have got going there, liked the chickens too. Seeing your setup and how much our daughter liked the chickens has almost convinced the missus we should get a few. She still thinks I'm obsessed with this "Aquaponics Stuff" but at least she can see what the rewards will be with the fresh fruit and veg.

Anyway cheers and we will all have to get together again sometime soon. I will make sure I have a batch of home-brew ready.
