Roundup barrels for AP? Rather use pretty much anything else if at all possible... Should be able to get them a bit cheaper than $35 hopefully too... I was getting them for $15 not that long ago.

If you want to use Jade Perch you are "supposed" to get permission from fisheries before you can bring them into the state..

I know of 3 lots of people who had Jades in their systems in Perth, unfortunately all of them lost them this winter. Water temps generally were lower this year due to the record cold we had but I think if you could keep your water temps at 14C or higher you may be able to do Jades Yr round.

Has anybody looked at any heating systems yet, pumping through black poly lengths etc I must admit it has been a crappy winter for Perth this year.

I'm definitely up for checking some local systems out, especially one that is producing, I only have a mini system set-up at the moment coz I'm trying to sell this house, but I am going for gold in the next house, any Idea's and advice is fully appreciated, I am an info sponge and also one for a challenge so if there is any problems anyone has I will try and find some suggestions/solutions. I don't know if I have met you yet Red beard but I'm the guy that works at the retic shop in Ellenbrook on Saturdays., I am the technician/installer during the week.

Is any one wanting to hydroton in some of there system, I know it can be expensive but it is better for some plants and gravel is better with others, I have sourced a wholesaler for it and can get it in the shop if I know people will be interested in it, Ifound my self driving around half the northern suburbs to find only bunnings stocking it for a ridiculous price, I am looking at making a polystyrene cutter too to make floating grow platforms, I am emailing Lakeside fish farm details of hydroton wholesaler too so he may stock it too. Sick of travelling south for everything ay!

just checked the wholesale prices of hydroton and compared to the price of what I payed for it at bunnings yesterday, I think I just pewked in my mouth, I could have bought 7 times more, that's a takin the piss mark up. gonna be easy to compete against!

Would be nice if BYAP opened a northern branch!
