Hi guys, I'm in Albury, on the Murray. We're all praying for rain here(see pics in album) I've a small , so far experimental system happening at the moment and it is at last looking productive. I'm hoping to add a greenhouse to the end of our house and start in earnest this year. If there is anyone else in this area, it would be nice to swap ideas.

Hello everyone, I live in Toronto (just south of Newcastle) and am keen to learn more before I shell out some $$$'s. If anyone is willing to give me half an hour of their time to show me their set-up, it would be greatly appreciated. I am happy to jump on my bike to go for a ride so don't worry about being a reasonable distance away.

My email address:
jonlear@tpg.com.au

Many thanks
Pommy Jon

Hi Pommy, not a lot of us APers in NSW...

Those nearest you "redleg" in Port Stevens, "Worms" in Newcastle, "Terry Murray" (Tezar) also in Newcastle....

Couple of people down Sydney way and Aeon in Canberra.... that's about it other than those outback or down by the border.

Maybe PM or email those closest to you.... go to the membership list, select member and you'll see the icons....

Lot of people don't post that often so I'm not sure if they've got systems up and running.

Feel free to PM me if you have questions, or post them here...

That's what everyone is here for and there's so much good info here that I'm sure all your questions will be answered

Hello APers, this is my first forum participation and it has been taking a while to "test the waters". I am located 500kms North North West of Sydney and 560kms South West of Brisbane, it has been very dry, but at the moment it is starting to look good. I would like to thank everyone on the forum and at BYA for their help in getting these concepts into my head and into action, I have a small system that I will start a thread on today. :?

Hello everyone,

BrunoM and I have just started a very small aquaponics system in Bondi, Sydney. It's a very densely populated part of Sydney, famous for its surf beach and sun seekers. We're hoping to make it famous for its small optimistic community of sustainable urban faming practitioners. ;) We've got a bit of a backyard (incredible rarity round here I know) and we're having a go at our first system, a small 500L prototype. Being nerds we also blog about it here:

Bondi Aquaponics

Our web page will slowly come together, forgive us if its a bit raw right now. Hello to all the NSW aquaponic's people, great to be a newb on the forums!

Well done.

My goodness we've been noticed by a posting god! I've never had much luck with the other kinds ... ;)

Thanks very much, but again, this is just such a new thing for us, it's great to have the support of the forums and other online resources to turn to. My only worry is what happens if I get too attached to the fish? I have named them all Steve, after my evil brother to mitigate it somewhat but they are fine looking beasties, even when they are tiny!
