Shelgeyr, 0.3 ppt is low enough that (nearly) everything would be fine. I see strawberries recommended at no more than 1ppt, and they are about the most salt sensitive. I believe many members run 2-3ppt as normal, and just dont grow strawberries. I'd guess that the gradual change is important though.
