Hey guys,

I'm thinking of building a semi-commercial aquaponic greenhouse in Morocco.
I was thinking of building a passive solar greenhouses because the costs would be reduced on the long term and the greenhouse wouldn't require much maintenance once it's set.
I can't find any documentation about people who've already set a passive solar greenhouse anywhere in Africa.
1) Is it because that system is only profitable in climates where there's huge fluctuations of temperatures (i.e: very cold in the winters and hot in the summers like Canada) or would it also be advantageous in a continental/ on the Atlantic coast climate like in Rabat (Morocco) where the average temperature is 22 °C (in the coldest months the temperature is between -3°C and 18°C)?

2) I'm thinking of burying the fish tanks in the ground. How would that affect anything inside a passive solar greenhouse set up? How would it affect the water temperature?

In the below picture is an overview of DWC aquaponic system we're planning on building

Thanks in advance for your help.

Burying tanks in the ground will certainly reduce diurnal temperature range- I have buried FT and ST in both my systems, and my system threads have plenty of plots of air temp vs water temp, so you can see how well it works.
