Hi,

I'm a Lecturer in Aquaculture at Challenger tafe in Fremantle. My students and i are currently doing a larval run in which we have about 150,000 Barramundi larvae and about 50,000 Black Bream larvae going through the live feed stage. Some of these fish are destined for aquaponics systems in and around Perth and WA. As I'm in the hatchery every weekend I will take a small group (no more than 15 people) through our facilities on Sunday 15th March at 10 a.m.
The hatchery is one of the largest in Australia and we have Pink Snapper, Mulloway, Yellowtail Kingfish, Barramundi and Black Bream currently under culture. The last two species are the ones we offer to the aquaponics enthusiasts as these species can be cultivated in fresh water. The tour will take about an hour so if you want to participate please leave a message on my personal message board and i will get back to you
