Hey guys so I a rookie mistake and over planted expecting at least a 50% mortality rate.

Pretty much 100% of what I planted has gone batshit crazy and is getting very wild very quickly.

Had anyone successfully translated plants between grow beds before? If so how and any tips?

This works fine if you're just going to another AP grow bed. Try to support the weight of any attached media as you move them. Place them at the same depth so they have access to water. That's it.

I use a small hand trowel for any digging since I have volcanic rock for part of my media (curved end and not sharp especially if you're using a liner).

Nah, When your just moving plants between adjacent grow beds with the same light and temperature it's easy. Plant the plants back in at the same depth you had them in the old bed. The best way to learn this is just to practice. I always make sure some of the roots are below the water line. If it's really hot then give the transplants some shade if you can. Shade is critical when you move plants from dark areas to sunny ones or from indoors to outdoors.

Lol ive quickly tried to redirect all the cucumber stems in one direction. Can you remove any of the lower foliage earlier on in a cucumbers life?

Personally I'd think if you can see your media you have under planted.

Doesn't look all that overplanted at all

I hacked my tomatoes back pretty hard at the lower levels of the plant
I allow the Cucumber/Pumpkin vines to overflow if they're at the front (or side)
I did remove some of the early branches/leaves from both the cucumbers & pumpkins without worrying the plants.

Here are a few ideas

Cut and Train the tomatoes (only do this with indeterminate tomatoes) to one lead going vertical or up and out. You can also train the cucumber up vertically (some may not work well this way) to a single lead or have the cucumber trail over the edge down toward the ground where it can sprawl. Here's a video showing how to train the cucumber vertically - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TGkFJh5bKGg. The lettuce will grow up but probably not much more out. You can probably harvest some if you feel it's getting crowded. The peppers might need a bit of space - you can shift some of them elsewhere or fill in using the peppers as you harvest the lettuce. If you have enough season left you'll get more peppers if you remove the first flowers like they suggest.
