Starting to build another growth bed. existing is LECA. Is shale better? |

If they were the same price I'd go with the LECA but they will both work well. I've used the LECA but not the shale so take it with a grain of salt. For me it's mostly about the shape, if there are sharp edges, weight, and cost. From what I can tell, neither of these have sharp edges. I like LECA's shape better. I think LECA weighs less but costs more. |
