Hi all I am looking to graft onto my seedling and l need a graft from an adult tree that has fruited in the past, could anyone supply me some small cuttings that I could pick up I'm in Perth. Cheers in advance |

we have a FUERTE avocado tree, you are welcome to have some cuttings if you want them. we are in Balcatta. |

Thanks Slowboat I'm interested but I've not heard of the Fuerte avocardo before what are they like? |

big and tasty, I think they a better than hass in all aspects except robustness of the skin. Fuerte have a thin green skin so they don't travel well and so not used much commercially. you pick them while still hard and let them ripen in a cupboard. |

Better still, plant a Hass next to it. Hass are an A variety, Fuerte are a B. Companion planted you get heaps more fruit |

I'm keen to try one now Slowboat is your tree starting to bud near the tips at the moment as I've seen this is important when grafting |
