Hi all

I am looking to graft onto my seedling and l need a graft from an adult tree that has fruited in the past, could anyone supply me some small cuttings that I could pick up I'm in Perth.

we have a FUERTE avocado tree, you are welcome to have some cuttings if you want them.

we are in Balcatta.

Thanks Slowboat I'm interested but I've not heard of the Fuerte avocardo before what are they like?

big and tasty, I think they a better than hass in all aspects except robustness of the skin.

Fuerte have a thin green skin so they don't travel well and so not used much commercially.

you pick them while still hard and let them ripen in a cupboard.

Better still, plant a Hass next to it.

Hass are an A variety, Fuerte are a B.
Companion planted you get heaps more fruit

I'm keen to try one now Slowboat is your tree starting to bud near the tips at the moment as I've seen this is important when grafting
