where did my draft go?

I saved a draft response to someone's thread so I could hunt for a link and now I can't find anywhere where the draft would be?

When you save a draft you need to go back to thread and post reply again, there will be another button next to where draft was that is named 'load draft'

I'm unsure what happens if someone posts in the mean time before you get back to it, I'm just testing it now.

Yep still there for me.

Go to the thread and see if you have the load draft available.

Wow, so it works... I'd never tried it before, or like Colours, I'd hit save draft before, but then not known how to get it back. Nice work Charlie.. :thumbleft:

Go to User Control Panel > Overview > Manage drafts.

Both those things didn't work, perhaps because there was one day delay between when I saved and when I replied? No probs I've rewritten a shorter reply, probably better for all of us really.

I frequently use save draft-load draft on a forum where I'm the moderator, and it works every time, even with a long delay before loading. I've used it here, and just did again, and it works perfectly well, although I have not tried it after a day's delay. You have to go to Full Editor to use it.
