can you explain your system in more detail please? looks like not enough bio-filtration and/or solids filtration to me? NFT and DWC need to have water which has very few solids. |

What are your water temps at? Running NFT or DWC needs cooler water temps to help stave off root rot. Anything over 70F and you can find root rot setting in. I lost a lot of plants in my foray into Hydroponics. |

I lost a lot of plants in my foray into Hydroponics. Hydro & Aquaponics might be a little different in that regard. During the peak of summer, my water temp got to 30C (86F), and it was fine without any rotting. I'm not sure if the OP is coming back, but it would have been the lack of filtration there, the roots were clogged with solids, and not taking up nutrients/oxygen and suffering. |
