How are the roots on new starts in a NFT system supposed to reach the water? I have rigged a drain pipe to be the rail and 2" net pots, and have blocked the water out hole so it's high enough to reach the bottom of the pots, but how is it really done correctly?

People will use a rayon mop string to wick water up to the roots.

I can't seem to get photos to "save as" they all keep showing up as full size. I don't have problems on any other site, so not sure what I am doing wrong?

Go to iphoto, save pic to desktop, open photo, file "save as", pull size down to ?400KB jpeg, rename, then choose this shot to upload? It always reads as full size again but when I see the details of the photo it tells me its 400KB?

I know it is user error ;-)

Yea, you are just using jpeg compression to make the file itself smaller. You need to resize the photo itself. That is probably in the edit menu.

Okay, so I just googled it, iPhoto apparently does not have a decent resize tool, but Preview does. It is under tools -> adjust size.

See if it works????

Sorry for the long delay, just got back from fishing. Went to PEI, Canada, we caught 3 good ones, 650, 800 and 900. Giant Blue Fin Tuna.

Here is the NFT, (I hope!)
