Hi Bobb,
My first thought is: What's the weather been like?
A sudden heat spell will definitely signal them to flower and seed, since most prefer cool weather.

If the weather is cool, and your water is heated, maybe the roots are warm as well, and signaling to the plant to flower and set seed?

Otherwise, i'm not sure.
