How do I size my return pump if my sump bed is on my subfloor

1) pump the total volume of your system about once per hour.

2) find a pump that can pump that volume, or more, after taking into account the height that the pump needs to lift the water (also known as the head height).

I'm not sure of the significance of your subfloor. Perhaps I'm misunderstanding the question.
