I' am after 40-60 Freshwater Barramundi Fingerlings but locating them in Darwin is becaming a near impossible.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Would have thought they would be in abundance up your way, although it may be a bit late for fingerlings?

DPIF used to run a hatchery at Channel Island, but ceased production last year. It was the only Territory hatchery.

You can source them from interstate (eg https://www.livefish.com.au )... but can now get other species like Jade Perch which are much easier to look after and have similar growth rates on a wider variety of food (including eating the algae which invariably grow in the tanks).

(You will need transport permit from DPIF before you can bring any into the Territory in case you were not aware.)
