Structured hides a fantastic.

Replication of the natural habitat is hard to achieve in hard bottom tanks... its been a task I have personally battled with for years. Although we can do our best to do this in a way that encourages good health and well-being by stocking correctly and providing a complex habitat in a humane fashion.

Wouldn't this be achievable by placing a smash river stone in there (not crunched but broken) about an inch on the bottom

I Was thinking of old 4" clay sewage pipes about 600mm long stacked on an angle of 30 deg?

guess you would also need to separate the power cords and hoses from the claws?

Hey guys been awhile since I've posted so every thing was going well..... Well not too bad lol

So we had a lot of rain the other week tank got too full and I had an escape found the Marron on the lawn ... A day later .... Dead .... O well to I'm going to install a put just above the water lvl to self drain when it gets too full.

Now my lettuce .... The only thing I can think it is is rot the lettuce head rotted from the roots.... Cut the sterm pipe hopfuly that will fix it

Now to the other end if the scale..... The worst thing that can happen to the AP system ........ MY KIDS!!!! So my 2 year old decided he didn't like the plants so he pulled them all up thro them over the fence thanks buddie lol but he also didn't like the fact water was in the tank and put the pump hose on the ground ....... Only left about 100l in the tank if that.

So it's all on repair mode now! Oh and I ate 3 Marron lol I will say tho I have 15 in there and I thought they would me more territorial and fight more other then the occasional dis membered claw they r doing well
