Hi all, I was researching potential stocks to buy for certain reasons and prices when I came across this ASX listed company Roto Gro International (ASX:RGI$0.285). They are amongst other things developers and manufactures of hydroponic equipment for high quality chemical free food and medical plants. See their images http://www.rotogro.com/rgwp/cases/pgallery/ It's basically a machine with rows of GB's fed fluids rotating around a grow light. Some of you guy's have been bashing your brains out doing similar things and here is a quantified answer!

Epcot at Disney World in Orlando has been doing the same thing for over 40 years. |

As a hydroponic retailer with 18 years experience I can tell you the roto gro has been around for about the same amount of time, but never really taken off, despite extensive advertising, for a number of reasons... cost v return (ROI) primarily... even the wacky tobaccy growers have found the ROI to be unacceptable. |

Here's a nice circular system. Plant grows and it gets pulled to a larger radius

Mr Damage....totally off this subject but...well you mentioned your occupation. Now I have been looking for NFT rectangular channel connectors around Adelaide, holy moly jack, why the hell are there so many hydroponic shops for business, ? are there more people using hydroponics to grow their vegies than aquaponics ? Now I do believe than growing 'herbal' tomatoes is illegal but it beggers belief. I heard a story years ago about police in some city quietly opened up new hydroponic store, offering fantastic deals and free delivery. Few weeks later the purchaser would get a surprise visit by boys in blue....surely old wives tale. |
