Hello. I've lurked around the forum for some time but joined only the other day. I also know a couple of the members personally. I just wanted to let people know that I am looking to start a commercial Aquaponics operation integrated with a larger organic farm. We are currently investigating/negotiating on a couple of pieces of land and which one we choose to go with depends on what the final makeup of the team looks like. Currently we have an organic root farmer on board (potatoes, beetroots, carrots and the like), Cider maker, Mead maker, fish farmer and possibly free range pig farmer. We are looking for any one else that would like to join the cooperative farm in particular an apple grower and hydroponics farmer. The sites we are considering are to the North and in an arc to the East of Ballarat. Would love to hear from people if they are interested.
