I'm wondering if anyone has dealt with selling to a larger chain retailers in the USA? I have talked to one that has a distribution hub about 45 miles from me. They would supply the seeds and the packing material. I have a copy of there contract and were currently running a quality test. Were also going over the contract. I'm wondering if the quality of there seeds change over time or if they change the plastic wrapping material over time. |

I would be more intrested in where the seeds come from? Are they heritage seeds or GMO crap? |

I have been told that they are not GMO seeds, but I'm not able to talk to the supplier of the seeds so who knows. I would rather deal with the seed supplier my self or use my current seed supplier. |

As of right now I buy all my supplies and sell the finished product. I’m able to control the quality with in reason. This contract would make me just a grower and they would provide the supplies. With out contacting the suppliers I could be left up the creek with a short paddle if I was send poor quality product or they did not supply me with the needed products on time. Rupert might be right and I could be buying and paying penalties for not shipping if they screw me. But that all depends on how the contract is written. |

if you're at this stage I would personally consider smaller niche markets where you are in control of your product and its quality.after all this is the fundamental idea behind what we do .is it is something as simple as entertaining the idea of expanding into a market. go to a few restaurants speak to the chef and managers |
